Three weeks after performing at the Philharmonie in Berlin with the German National Youth Orchestra, Alexander returns to the venue this week for a programme of Mozart and Strauss.

For his third visit to the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, Shelley will conduct Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Masonic Funeral Music as well as Richard Strauss’s Death and Transfiguration in both a casual concert and a subscription concert. Alexander will present the casual concert on February 8th and will be joined by pianist Lars Vogt for the concert on the 9th, who will play Mozart’s concerto K466.
